“HIE: Hafazan is Easy” – 13 seats booked so far!

Assalamu’alaikum parents, parents-to-be, educators, Muslim brothers and sisters:

Have you always wanted to memorize the Quran (or at least some Surah from the Quran)?

Do you want your kids to be a hafiz or hafizah?

Do you desire to appreciate the Quran better and have it ‘stored’ in your mind and heart?

If you answer “Absolutely!”, then we’d like to invite you to take part in a homeschool talk at Coaching Zone, Equine Park, Seri Kembangan.

HIE:  Hafazan is Easy, with Ustaz Wan Zikri

Date:  15 December 2009 (Tuesday)

Time:  8 pm – 10 pm

Venue:  Coaching Zone, Equine Park in Seri Kembangan, Selangor

****************************************************

Last Tuesday, Ridz and I flew to Besut for English Program at Imtiaz, School of Excellence.  Ustaz Wan Zikri (former CEO of Imtiaz) on behalf of Pusat Minda Besut invited us to conduct a one-day workshop for Imtiazians.

MashaAllah, we were impressed with the hafiz/hafizah (they have memorized 30 juzuk by by the age of 15) and at the same time have the potentials to speak English with style!  Seriously, we experimented with different accents and they sounded so natural.

After all, one who recites the Quran regularly has conditioned his/her vocal chords to make any sound a human can produce.

Once back in Bangi, we met Ustaz Wan again over a cup of tea.

He asked about our homeschooling module and when we mentioned our aspiration to train Muhammad and Musa to memorize the Quran, Ustaz Wan got us excited with the 3T module that they use at Imtiaz.

Good things must be shared, right?

Hence, we’ll have our first homeschool talk this December InshaAllah.  If you are not a homeschooling parent, you are most welcome to join the session as well.

  1. Assalamualaikum coachSha ,

Being a hafiz/ah is such a gift that sumtimes not all people appreceiated it .

Alhamdulilllah my 2 elder brothers are hafiz when they were 12 or 13 years old if i’m not mistaken . Me also a 1/3 hafizah (hehe) when i was 10 , alhamdulillah . My brother in-law is also a hafiz and yes indeed he is the best student in his batch in UTeM . Everything goes easy , i mean in studies when we recite the whole Quran . It’ s a mukjizat , rite ?

Gudluck 4 ur coaching . Salam perkenalan .🙂

    • MashaAllah, barakallahu fik!

Thanks for your inspiring words Ummi Hanie.

As parents, it is a matter of deciding our priority. What type of person we want to produce?

Alhamdulillah, two days after I posted this, 13 seats are booked!

      I’m speechless!

      Nice to know you.

  2. Salaam,

    Interesting!
I would like to find out more about this. It is taught in English, is it?
Would appreciate any additional info, inshaa Allaah.

I’m a revert to Islam (Alhamdulillah) by choice, and have a toddler and a little baby in the home. My son knows some surahs, but for him to be a hafiz, I don’t think I have the ability to coach him!
I know basic tajweed so that I can read Qur’an, but to teach him, I’m a little uncertain..!

I also don’t fancy the current schooling system.. and wouldn’t like my son to go through something that would cause him to despise learning for the love of it..

    Thank you!
    Wassalaam

    • Sis Rayhana,

Thanks for visiting. MashaAllah, I browsed through your blog (will go in depth after this) and what a blessing that we meet here!

HIE is conducted mostly in BM but can be translated to English if needs arise.

As parents, let us set our “niat” to raise our kids as huffaz. InshaAllah, every little attempt and effort we make towards that will be rewarded.

We are in the same ‘wavelength’ here.. *smile*

      Jazakillah.
