1. Karate Grading:
Alhamdulillah!!! Mu-Mu passed their grading and are officially green belt ‘wearers’ now. Way to go bros!
2. Getting busy & messy with LittleKittle Science FunSquad!
What better way to spend a weekend than with fellow homeschoolers. Ummi and Abie took the whole troop plus Ahmad & Kak Sakinah (their cousins) to join the Science FunSquad at Susuibu.com. Even li’l Sarah came along and managed to fall asleep di celah-celah kekecohan letupan gunung berapi!!!!
It was worth it! Besides us, Ms. Yus and her li’l Azyana and baby Azalea pun ada. Oh, and Mamafiza’s assistant, Ms. MakNgah, was soooooooo helpful and so good with kids. Thanks a whole load to Mamafiza, Ms. MakNgah, Along KiruaMi, Angah ReiHi, li’l YunaFi.
p/s: Ada sambungannya lepas raya!
3. Exposure to Public Speaking – Akademi Bijak Berbicara AMPAC
Once a month, Umie & Abie will handle English Sure Boleh! session at Ampac, Az-Zahrah. One of the activities organized was Pertandingan Pidato & Ceramah Motivasi led by Bro Badrul Sani or Abg Badr as the MC. As usual, the whole troop took part as audience.
This is what Musa said to me: “Umi…Musa tak faham!” Heheh.. of course the participants were using Bahasa Malaysia Tinggi right.. but they managed to sit through and listened and hopefully caught some of BM words (oh dah cover BM syllabus ni!).
After that, as a treat for being good and supportive members of the floor, we had our early dinner – Japanese style!
4. Funfair @ Teluk Intan
We were away for one week. Umie & Abie had jobs to do – Writing Playshop at Teknik Teluk Intan (3days) and SMAB (1 session). So, berkampung for one week at the rest house (oops..gotta pay RM15 for breaking a bowl! Accident happens.)
We ‘found’ funfair there. So, on the second nite, our Hiace was seen parked at the empty parking lot. Ada la 3 kereta there. It was fun going to funfair minus the crowd. No need to line up. No need to wait until all seats are full for the ride to go on. Just us!!!!
Alhamdulillah, we had an eventful week with the kids. Nothing beats homeschooling!
“Home’s cool – homeschool!”
