Journal writing is one of the best way to:

1. Improve handwriting (we make sure MUMUMA write on paper first before typing). Kids nowadays are losing the handwriting touch. Writing @ pressing the letters over the handphones and using sms spellings are sure disasters. The language appreciation will deteriorate. Typing is not the same as writing. The artistic influence and hand-eye coordination helps increases brain activities. Hence ..writing @ blogging.

2. Express Ideas.  Ideas unexpressed remain ideas. Getting kids especially teenagers to speak up nowadays is total horror. We’re not talking about the language obstacle here. Even in their own mother tongue, thet still get tongue-tied. They don’t know enough to say enough. Writing is a way to express thoughts and feelings.

“Writing is a way to express thoughts and feelings.”

Saya cukup bersetuju. Semasa program motivasi di sekolah lama, para pelajar kaku seribu bahasa untuk memberikan pendapat tentang program.

Namun, apabila diminta untuk tuliskan pendapat di atas kertas…they `said` beautiful words!

Keep up the good work Coach Sha and family!

Second cousins of your four beautiful kids. Cucu Opah Halijah Taiping.
